For over a decade, I’ve supported the Atlas of Life project—an inspiring citizen science initiative focused on biodiversity and conservation. My work began with a custom WordPress site and evolved into a full redevelopment on Squarespace (based on another designer’s design), always tailored to the team’s evolving needs. I provided ongoing technical support and was on call at short notice throughout the 12 years we worked together.
A major part of my role involved managing the front end development of the Atlas’ annual photography competition, which included advanced WordPress development, creating custom galleries, and training volunteers to upload and display entries and results. This project combined long-term collaboration, problem-solving, and a real passion for supporting community-driven environmental work.
